Coddies Inventomatic Competition - Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

The Coddies Wallace & Gromit-Inspired Slipper Design Competition (the "Competition") is open to individuals of all ages.

2. Entry Period:

The Competition will commence on November 30th and end on December 20th 2023 at 12:00 PM PST (the "Entry Period").

3. How to Enter:

Entrants must submit their Wallace & Gromit-inspired slipper designs via the submission form during the Entry Period.

Designs must be original and not infringe upon any third-party rights.

4. Judging:

Entries will be judged by a panel of representatives from Coddies based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the Wallace & Gromit theme.

The decision of the judges is final.

5. Prizes:

The first-place winner will receive $250/£200 in cash.

Five runners-up will receive Coddies Feathers McGraw slippers.

6. Winner Notification:

Winners will be notified via email.

If a winner is under the age of 18, written consent from a parent or legal guardian may be required.

7. Publicity:

By entering, participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and design for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

8. Intellectual Property:

Entrants retain ownership of their designs but grant Coddies a license to use, reproduce, and display the designs for promotional purposes.

9. Disqualification:

Coddies reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate the competition's rules or are deemed inappropriate.

10. General Terms:

Coddies reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time.

Participants agree to abide by these terms and all applicable laws.

Coddies is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries.

11. Governing Law:

The Competition is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

12. GDPR Compliance:

By entering the Competition, participants acknowledge and agree that Coddies may collect, process, and store their personal information for the purpose of administering the Competition.

Personal information may include, but is not limited to, names, email addresses, and design submissions.

Coddies is committed to protecting the privacy and security of participants' personal information and will handle it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Participants have the right to request access to, rectification, or deletion of their personal information by contacting info@coddies.co.uk.

Personal information will be retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated in these terms and in accordance with applicable laws.
